We achieve our mission by focused programs and coordinated hands-on activities that include:

• Safe and responsible removal of invasive plant species

• Rehabilitation and replanting of native plants to foster the natural return of resilient ecosystems and habitat

• Sharing of formal and informal education programs and knowledge that inspire stewardship and conservation 

• Service - As good citizens and stewards, we serve the people of our community

• Teamwork - everything we accomplish is through a team of volunteers sharing the work, sharing ideas and in coordination with the City of Colwood parks team

• Gratitude - We are fortunate to live in this beautiful and peaceful place. We take actions to demonstrate this gratitude.

• Conservation - In addition to the obvious regard for our natural spaces, we believe in using and sharing our limited resources in the most effective manner possible

• Passion - We believe that a dedicated and passionate group of individuals is what starts change and encourages others to contribute and join the effort.
